To Live Forever

To Live Forever

Most of us would wonder how our great grandparents used to live. What was their daily life like? Unfortunately, there was no affordable medium to document their life visually at that time. I believe that we are the first generation to have easy access to a very good quality camera on our phones.

When the first lockdown started in March, I thought how will I do photography now? Then I realised that my mum's birthday was coming up soon. So, I decided to capture her daily life at home. Pure, honest, and selfless moments of her life would be something that our family's future generation would cherish. This is an ongoing project which might take a year or more to capture all the significant moments.

This project is to encourage all of you to capture your parents/grandparents/loved ones' lives NOT by asking them to pose but photographing candid moments of them. We have this opportunity and most importantly—time to photograph them. We are not here forever, but we can make their essence of life last forever.
